Celebrate summer at the annual Fort Ross Festival. Volunteers will be working alongside our Kashia, Russian, Alaska Native, and early Ranch communities to offer family-friendly activities, lots of soulful and rollicking performances, hands-on crafts, and live demonstrations. So you’ll see blacksmiths, coopers, spinners, carpenters, woodworkers, broom makers, and many others. Try your hand at making rope, weaving a mini-basket, or rolling a candle. There will also be Alaska Native crafts, Ranch-era Call House Museum viewing and a chance to view the Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods Mobile Marine Education Van.
