Want to plan a summer of fun for the little people in your life? Good news! An over-the-top summer doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg or take tons of prep work. With this list of our ten favorite things to do with kids under 5, we prove the old axiom that the best things in life FREE (or at least very cheap).

3. Rock Out with JAMband

If your toddler prefers dancing to sitting still (who doesn’t?) then you must check out the free concerts offered by Charity and the JAMband. Located in Golden Gate Park near The Park Chalet, the JAMband concerts have been letting families get their groove on for nine summers and counting. Bring a picnic blanket and some food and let the kids dance their cares away in the warm California sun.

Dates: June 7, July 26, September 13 and October 25 from 3–5 p.m.
