From our picturesque (but cold) oceans to wine country to the fun eats and adventures in the city, sometimes a “stay-cation” is as nice as getting away. Our San Francisco Editor, Gabby Cullen, decided to keep it close to home this summer and enjoy the many activities the Bay Area has to offer. Check out the cool ways she and her family spent the summer, from trains to science, festivals, sun and surf.
We Strolled Along the Creek
One of the many bikes trials in Marin County, the Corte Madera Creek Path is a family fave. From killer views of Mt. Tam to Hal Brown Park, it’s a popular path with folks of all ages. Hal Brown Park at Creekside is filled with fantastic sand pits and water features, making the creation (and destruction!) of dams and lakes an anticipated event. Located at Bon Air Road, in Greenbrae, across from Marin General Hospital.
How did you spend your summer?
