Pack up the family and head to the Annual Wildlife Festival at Wagner Ranch in Orinda. The historic ranch and 18-acre nature preserve, which is rarely open to the public, includes a variety of earth-friendly activities: Vsit animals in the garden, try out DIY gardening projects, hands-on nature arts and crafts, and earth day games.  The day include a rare docent tour of the meadows, woodland, ponds and streams, and the historic home site of Theodore Wagner, California’s first Surveyor General.
