If you’re a class commitment-phobe (or have a kiddo who changes his or her mind every day), consider one of these schools that offer a free trial session, so you can sample the fruit before signing on the dotted line. Click through the gallery to take a peek.
Even though Music Together is a nation-wide company, this spot offers a grass-roots feel. The classes, which emphasize parental involvement, feature lovely acoustic music and encourage children to play simple instruments, dance, and try out their vocal chords. To give it a try, first go to the main site to locate the center nearest you. Then, follow instructions to sign up for a preview class. Children ages 5 and up can attend without an adult.
