If there’s a show that you and your picky preschooler can agree on, it’s Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood (he loves the characters; you love the engaging storylines).
Good news: you’ll both get a kick out of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grrr-ific Exhibit now at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. Created by Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh in partnership with The Fred Rogers Company, the immersive experience based on the award-winning PBS KIDS TV series allows kiddos to step into Daniel’s world. Here’s what you need to know:
- Families journey through multi-sensory stations, sharpening problem-solving and communication skills along the way.
- Because Daniel navigates life’s lessons through song, kids can pick up an instrument at The Music Shop and belt out a tune.
- Littles will also love sorting packages at The Post Office and scribbling notes of gratitude at the Thank You Tree. Or pull on a costume at the Imagination Stage and star in a show of your own.
- For even more excitement, there’s three special days with themed programming and photo ops with Daniel.
The exhibit runs every day from May 20 to September 4. For tickets, click here.
Sounds pretty grrr-eat.
