Enjoy a story at SF Botanical Garden’s Library, then enjoy a 30-minute docent-led walk through the Garden. Themes like “Blooming Branches” bring the world of plants alive to budding naturalists. The library houses an excellent collection of kid’s books on plants, natural history, science, and nature-related myths and stories. Bring a lunch and enjoy the gardens for the afternoon. Story time is free for all. The docent tour requires garden admission, which is free for all San Francisco residents. Cost for non-SF residents is: $8/adults; $6/child 12-17; $2/child 5-11; children 4 and under are free.
