the scoop:

California winter showers bring crazy amounts of wildflowers and some petaled beauties will be putting on quite a show at the San Francisco Botanical Garden from spring through summer. Kids will love the white, spiraling magic dogwood, along with the crimson monkey’s hand and the huge, fiery bristles of the protea. The Garden of California Native Plants, the Mediterranean Garden and the Zellerbach Garden of Perennials will also have some plenty of not-to-miss blooms this season.
