the scoop:

Issaquah’s Down Home 4th of July celebration kicks off with the Kids ‘n Pets Parade at 11 am. From Labradors to llamas, favorite pets accompany costumed children on decorated floats, bikes, scooters and wagons down Front St. to Memorial Field.

After the parade, families can head to Memorial Field to spend the day playing old-fashioned games and enjoying pony rides, bouncy houses, water balloons, gunnysacks and three-legged races to win all kinds of fun, red, white and blue prizes. Kids can also enjoy a School of Rock performance at Veterans’ Memorial Park from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and check out the Reptile Man from 1 p.m.-2 pm.

You and your family can also have a great time at the 15th annual Heritage Day Celebration at the Issaquah Depot Museum. Experience an old-fashioned lifestyle – find out more here.
