There’s nothing cuter than a kid with a social conscience.
The folks at Lucky Sprout know this all too well. So they’ve made it their mission to promote good deeds and positive messages one pint-sized tee shirt at a time.
Created by sisters Cynthia Hannah and Suzanne Premo of Fremont and graphic designer Elizabeth Thieme of Ravenna, Lucky Sprout’s darling designs feature a cast of whimsical characters — Lucky, Piper, Kaboing and Turbo — who are the ambassadors of the Be A Good Seed message that daily actions matter.
To that end, there’s the Peace tee, which shows Lucky atop a globe with the words: Peace. Sprout some. (On the back: It starts with two, me and you.) Or there’s the Water tee sporting Kaboing and the words: Water. Collect some. (On the back: Every drop counts.) Other themes include Happiness and Wind. If it’s not enough that the organic cotton tees, which are made with non-toxic, water-based inks, are downright adorable, there’s also the fact that Lucky Sprout practices what they preach. From every sale of the $24 tees, one dollar is donated to a non-profit organization that’s doing good things.
So what’s Lucky Sprout’s ultimate take-home message? Teach a kid to be a Good Seed now, and there’s a darn good chance they’ll grow up to become Great Seeds.
