This festival, dating back to when strawberry farming was one of our region’s most famous activities, takes place on the fourth weekend of every June. The two-day festival will be packed with over 100 craft and food vendors, live entertainment, hands-on history exhibits and tons of strawberry goodness (think: strawberry shortcake, strawberry pie, chocolate dipped strawberries!) as well as a strawberry shortcake eating contest, bouncy houses, pony rides, games, face painting and a classic car show (on Sunday).
Note: The Family Fun Area will have something for everyone, including carnival games, pony rides, inflatables, rock climbing, mini-golf, face painting and more! Free parking and shuttle rides available from Highland Middle School and Sherwood Forest Elementary School.
Sat., 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Sun., 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Don’t Miss: What is a Strawberry Festival without an opportunity to get fresh Washington-grown strawberries? Be sure to pick up quarts or flats of luscious strawberries on your way out and help support the Eastside Heritage Center at the same time.
Note: Free parking and shuttle rides available from Highland Middle School and Sherwood Forest Elementary School.
