Beyond the Bouncy House: Active Birthday Parties for the Winter Months
Things may still be wet and chilly, but that’s not going to stop your little party animals from wanting to celebrate their birthday in true kid fashion–with lots of running and jumping and screaming. Luckily for Seattle kids (and parents) there are more than a few ways to get your kiddo’s bounce on without renting a jumpy house. We’ve rounded up some choice indoor playspaces with great birthday party packages that take care of almost all of the planning. They’ll even take care of setup and clean-up so you can enjoy the day with the birthday boy or girl.
Dizzybus
With DizzyBus, you can have the Tumblebus come to you or take your party to Dizzy’s Bus Stop. With the Tumblebus option, you get the big yellow Tumblebus parked outside your house (how cool is that?), followed by cake and presents at your place after the kids are done tumbling. Or let someone else handle cleanup and take your party to the Bus Stop, where you’ll have the place to yourself and plenty of time in the tumbling room. Either way, the kids are guaranteed to have a tumbling fun time.

WiggleWorks
Offering two different party options, WiggleWorks lets you rent out their private party room for your celebration before letting your little rugrats let loose with in the public play area. Or, if you want the complete birthday party package, you can rent out the entire facility (though this carries a steep price tag). But with the help of your party planning coordinator, the staff at WiggleWorks promise to make your kiddo’s birthday a memorable one. They’ll even give the birthday boy or girl their own special gift to take home.

Now with their Nickelodeon partnership, they offer Dora the Explora birthday parties where they can go on an adventure with Dora and her explorer crew. Bonus: they handle all of the setup and cleanup – all you have to do is show up!
iFLY
Has skydiving ever sounded like a great birthday gig? Or is jumping out of a plane with little more than a thrill seeking instructor and parachute strapped to your back not what you would call…kid friendly? Not to worry, you can have you cake and eat it too with iFly. They bring to the table, an awesome indoor skydiving experience that is fit for persons of any age, and the kids just love it! So why haven’t you gone yet? Birthdays are a perfect event for skydivers in training, and highly qualifies and experienced staff make “flights” as fun and exciting as they are safe.
