Mark your calendars for World Water Day 2017 at Brightwater Center! Enjoy fun activities for all ages including art projects, science experiments, tours of our wastewater treatment plant and more. Plus, explore the world of water: how we impact it, how we clean it and what each of us can do to protect it.

There will be both family-oriented and adult-oriented tours of the wastewater treatment plant. Family tours of the treatment plant leave at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.. These last about 1 hour each. The adult tour leaves at 10 a.m., which lasts 2 hours. Please make sure you register for the correct tour. Space is limited.

Note: Children must be 9 and up to attend a tour. Close toed shoes are required. The tour requires going up and down stairs, about a mile of walking and wearing personal protection gear.
