The lord of Camlann invites you to attend his summer village festivals, with theatre, knightly combat, puppetry, crafts, archery and minstrels. Come to Somersetshire, ancient realm of Arthur the king, and visit the colorful world of Chaucer’s England in 1376. The pace is leisurely, the scale is small and intimate: leave behind the hectic 21st century.
Families can enjoy cider pressing demonstrations, puppetry and music, long bow archery demonstrations, sheep petting, craft demonstrations including blacksmithing, candle-making, pottery and more.
Authentic hot snacks, meals and drinks will be available from the Bors Hede Inne. Checks and cash only for admission and food. Call ahead to reserve supper in the dining hall (5:30 p.m.-7 p.m.) or order in advance your tickets for the feast.
