Spring Children’s Concert

where: McCaw Hall, 321 Mercer Street, Seattle, Wa

cost: Free

ages: All

add to calendar: Google   iCal/Outlook

the scoop:

The Seattle Men’s Chorus and the Seattle Women’s Chorus come together each spring to perform a family-friendly concert for kids in order to extend the reach of the Choruses’ mission to young people. This year, they will join forces with some of Village Theater’s KIDSTAGE kids (ages 11-19) to provide an entertaining, inspiring, and completely FREE one-hour matinee concert at Seattle’s magnificent McCaw Hall.

With a non-stop hour of music, antics, and theatrics, each organization will bring their talents to the stage, showcasing some of the arts programs available for children in our community. This free concert is pumped full of silly costumes, laughter, and smiles. Audience participation is definitely on the menu, and this year, the folks from Book-It Repertory Theatre will perform And Tango Makes Three from their “Danger: Books!” education series.

This year, kiddos can also participate in FREE hands-on workshops taught by Village Theatre KIDSTAGE instructors. Each workshop is 30-minutes long and tailored for kids in grades K-5. Call 206-388-1400 to reserve a spot in one of the workshops.
