the scoop:

Children’s Hour is a free educational program — ideal for Pre-K – brought to you by Scarecrow Video! Join other Seattle families for the latest Children’s Hour series: Around the World. This series will be hosted on Thursday mornings over thirteen weeks, from April 20 through July 13.

Scarecrow Video will introduce participants to the seven continents, starting in Asia and ending in North America, with content and concepts alternating between selected cultural stories and the natural history of the region. Each Children’s Hour session will include auditory, visual and tactile styles of learning: watching short videos, reading storybooks provided by the U-District branch of Seattle Public Library, and participating in an activity related to the culture or natural environment of the continent. Everyone is welcome!
