In this two-day workshop, kiddos will create hand-built clay works of art! They will also learn basic clay techniques and historical content while engaging with this wonderful building material. Each student will have their finished work glazed.

Please join us for the first annual Arab outdoor movie night at Marymoor Park! Meet at 6:30 pm for a lovely evening in the park: activities, music, and the film beginning at 8:30. We will be screening the Egyptian classic musical "Days and Nights" featuring the legendary Abdel Halim Hafez. We will provide translations and transliterations of some of the songs in the movie to encourage a sing-a-long. Bring blankets, low-backed chairs, snacks, and your best singing voice to this fun, family-friendly event! $10/person in advance gets you 5 free tickets to use for snacks or games. $10 for entrance and additional tickets will available for purchase at the event. 12 and under are free.

Rent a Pirate Pond Boat to sail on Lake Union Park's Model Boat Pond. These 39-inch pond boats are scale models of the R-Boat Pirate, which is on exhibit on our docks at South Lake Union. Sailing these miniature racing yachts is a great way to learn the basic concepts of sailing while enjoying time at the park. Pond Boat Sailing takes places Saturdays April-November.
