Football season is here (go Hawks!), the chill of autumn is in the air and those chunky sweaters and Hunter boots have once again taken center stage in our closets—fall is in full swing in Seattle. And what better way to experience autumn, than with a hearty bowl of soup. Click through the gallery and get ready to satisfy your soup cravings at one of our favorite belly-warming spots.

Pho Bac

One of the greatest benefits to living in Seattle, and the surrounding areas, is the ease of access to international cuisine; and one of the best examples is a delicious bowl of Pho.

Although there are an abundance of choices when seeking out this staple Vietnamese comfort food, you should do yourself a favor and seek out Pho Bac. Notorious for being the first Pho restaurant to grace Seattle (in 1982), Pho Bac has earned their way into the heart (and stomach) of anyone who has slurped the noodles and sipped the rich, flavorful soup. The preparation of pho is a labor of love, and it shines through. The balance of soup to noodle achieves perfection; the only thing missing is your own twist. Use the plate of condiments wisely; top your pho off with some Thai basil, a handful of crunchy bean sprouts and a squeeze of lime and you have a robust meal ready to devour.
