Mark your calendars for the JCCCW’s annual Kodomo no Hi – “Children’s Day,” an annual event that encourages children and families to explore and learn about Japanese art, culture, food, and music.

This year, Kodomo no Hi attendees can learn about manga culture through artist demonstrations, a workshop, a manga drawing contest and more! Other attractions will include maneki neko (lucky cat) hat making, origami and other crafts, plus water yoyo fishing, a taiko performance and workshop by Kaze Daiko, a wotagei demo, martial arts, storytelling and tasty food from local vendors.
