Work with teaching artist and maker Thaddeus Jurczynski to create realistic portrait art using a mix of craft supplies and technology at this month’s Maker Day. Visitors are encouraged to bring a photo of themselves, a family member, or – in honor of MOHAI’s newest exhibit It’s Raining Cats and Dogs – even a pet to turn into a stunning work of art; the process is simple and all materials are provided. Visitors can also have their photo taken on the spot to create a self-portrait from their museum visit.
About MOHAI Maker Day
On the last Saturday of each month, join MOHAI for the Maker Day at the Bezos Center for Innovation. Tinker, experiment, and create alongside some of Seattle’s most experienced makers.
