The Northwest Railway Museum will pay tribute to America’s service men and women and their families this Memorial Day with a special weekday train run on Monday, May 29. This is in addition to the railroad’s usual weekend train schedule. All trains include a stop at the Train Shed exhibit building, too!
To commemorate the holiday, the museum will also offer $5 round-trip train fare Saturday, May 27, Sunday May 28 and Monday May 29, to members of the military: active duty, guard, reserve, retired, and their dependent family members, with current military ID.
This year, on Sunday May 28, everyone is invited to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Northwest Railway Museum and the 50th birthday of the train rides in the Upper Snoqualmie Valley! Enjoy treats at the Railway Education Center as well as special giveaways (while supplies last). The first 50 full fare ticket purchasers will also receive a special treat, too!
Trains depart every 2 hours beginning at 11 a.m. from the Snoqualmie Depot and at 11:30 a.m. from the North Bend Depot. Regular roundtrip fares apply: $10 children (ages 2-12), $20 adults (ages 13-61), and $16 (age 62 and up)!
Note: Scenic train excursions aboard the antique trains travel through the Cascade foothills of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley and include a ride to the top of Snoqualmie Falls.
