the scoop:

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, volunteer with Nature Consortium and help restore an important habitat in West Seattle’s Pigeon Point neighborhood and celebrate Dr. King’s role in the environmental justice movement.

Restoration work will include removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings, depending on the restoration progress in each site. Work parties are often accompanied by live musicians, bringing the arts and nature together for our enjoyment!

What to Bring: Please dress appropriately with long pants, warm and dry layers, closed-toed shoes and rain gear as needed. Gloves, tools, a light granola bar snack and a jug of water will be provided. Please bring a refillable water bottle.
