Sonja Hunt

What started as a hobby has turned into a busy business for Sonja Hunt, mom to Noelle (20 months), and the creative mind behind the pictures at Sonja Hunt Photography

Where she’ll be on a sunny day: Hunt and her family are outdoor folks, so Lincoln Park in West Seattle is their sunny day hangout of choice. They love to play in the rocks, find treasures and just enjoy the fresh air of the beautiful PNW. As for sunny weekends, Lowman Beach Park picnic dinners after family day hikes are definitely a must.

Her must-have mom product: If you ask Hunt, she’ll tell you that her BOB stroller is the best money she ever spent because it’s, “mental, physical and emotional health all in one easy to drive package.” What more could a parent ask for?

The best thing about being a Seattle mom: For Hunt, the culture of healthy living that’s pervasive in Seattle is a definite perk. Being surrounded by the great outdoors, plus easy access to healthy food, not only at farmer’s markets but in restaurants too, makes raising a healthy and happy child so much easier. Hip, hip hooray for Seattle!
