Mount Baker Community Club

Mount Baker Community ClubWhen it comes to researching the next venue for your little one’s birthday bash, the Mount Baker Community Club is most likely not on your radar, right? While you may have visited Mount Baker for the annual Seafair festival or Day In The Park, chances are you’re not privy to the bevy of more great family gathering opportunities the Community Club offers.

Established in 1909, Mount Baker is all about cultivating a community between neighbors. As the heart of the Mount Baker community, the Club is a great resource for Seattle families who are looking to throw a memorable and hassle-free party. Plus, anyone who is familiar with the Club knows what a cool historic building it is, to boot. The Club’s resourceful staff are available to you to plan the bash your way from totally-DIY to a professionally catered event. The staff will consult with you on everything from itineraries, decorations, floor plans, and more. Plus, since the Community Club ensures that your party will be supported by the neighbors and businesses (and, patronage to the South Seattle businesses is always a good idea, right?).

Birthday party packages come in two flavors: With entertainment or without.  Our entertainment-based packages are part of our popular Kindiependent Kids Rock Series, featuring 10 rocking Saturday morning concerts from Recess Monkey to Caspar Babypants to The Not-Its! or our Pied Piper kids programming with the Reptile Man, Xakary the Magician, clowns, puppets, and more.  The package includes 10 admissions, the upstairs party room for four hours and two dozen mini cupcakes from all-time favorite, Trophy Cupcakes.

If your date doesn’t jibe with one of our shows, the package is a little less money, but the party can be just as big!  Hire your own entertainment, bring in a bouncy house or pick a theme and run with it.

And, if you’re looking for a non-birthday party event space, the Club also hosts weddings and other celebrations. Check out the Mount Baker Community Club’s website to learn more.
