Know a girl who loves to sing? For over four decades, Northwest Girlchoir has been dedicated to the development of girls'€™ musical knowledge, vocal/performance skills, cultural awareness and personal responsibility in a hard-working, fun, and caring community. With over 250 choristers in grades 1-12, Northwest Girlchoir presents over six main stage concerts every year. Auditions for girls entering grades 3-12 will be held on May 9, June 1, and June 13. Featuring Northwest Girlchoir’s advanced choristers (grades 5-12), this concert celebrates reflective, shimmering holiday repertoire illuminated by sun, moon and stars, including “Moon of Wintertime,” “Chasing the Northern Lights,” and “Amid the Splendors of the Sun.” And, don’t miss Northwest Girlchoir’s world premiere of the newly commissioned piece, “Ave Maris Stella” by Seattle composer Jessica French.
