It’s Seattle’s big Seafair weekend, what with the air show and other festivities. We’ve included some of them in our roundup, but also have other distractions for the whole family, including some great theater (especially on in a stunning outdoor amphitheater), musical performances and Blue Angles crafting. If you’re looking to get out of dodge,  how about road-tripping up North for camping and fun at Summer Meltdown at Whitehorse Mountain in Darrington? The festival has more than 30 bands performing and a very-entertaining Kids Area that will hopefully keep your kids from having their own summer meltdowns. PS: Expect to hear the Blue Angels zooming overhead (and intermittent I-90 bridge closures from Thurs-Sun).
