With the start of August and Seattle’s biggest (and loudest!) weekend of the summer, it’s a fantastic time to get outside and enjoy some summertime fun. For starters, we have tons of activities along the shores of Lake Washington, the largest children’s parade in Seattle, and a festival with lots of hands-on activities. We also have a free day at the museum, a movie night for the whole fam, and an educational walk through the park. If you haven’t seen the Seafair Pirates or Seafair Clowns this summer, you’ll find them this weekend at the Lake City Pioneer Days Festival and Parade. In addition to more than 100 vendor booths, there will be a vintage car show, kids’ activities and crafts, fab food, and live entertainment as well as an awesome parade through the streets of Lake City.
