It’s the last full weekend of September and time to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Luckily, there’s plenty of great autumnal fun to keep you and your kiddos busy this weekend. Consider: a super-fun neighborhood festival, a BIG hands-on event, a party for your pooch, a day at the farm, a family fun run, and a pumpkin festival with more excitement than you can shake a stick at. This week, take the kiddos to see Harold and the Purple Crayon and watch what happens when a curious four-year-old boy launches a magical exploration with his crayon. And if you’re looking for a super-fun Bavarian festival, check out Freemont Oktoberfest (pictured) where the Kids Area will feature face painting, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin carving, and plenty of (root) beer.
