Seattle Kids Weekend Events: Sept 27-29

This weekend, we have plenty of great autumnal fun to keep you and the kiddos busy and entertained. Consider: a fun family musical, an awesome fall festival, a day full of giving, a high-energy PJ party, a farm-tastic opening, and a festival with loads of pumpkin-themed excitement. The Italian Festival also returns this weekend and will feature pizza tossing contests, delish food (think pizza, pasta, and gelato!), chef demonstrations and live music plus a bocce tournament and grape stomp.

Pippi Longstocking
It’s opening weekend of this family musical based on the novel by Astrid Lindgren. See what happens to this little girl who lives as she pleases with no rules, no bedtime, no school and no parents. The Bite of Broadview
This annual fall festival will have a little something for everyone. Enjoy carnival rides, live music and entertainment (including Caspar Babypants!), a fab Kids Zone and food vendors plus arts and crafts, a beer and wine garden, car show and more. Family Day: Kids Can
Are you and your family inspired to make a change, but not sure where to start? At this free event, learn about the countless ways kids can get involved in giving back, hear inspiring stories from young community leaders, get connected with family-friendly volunteer opportunities and participate in hands-on activities. Parents Night Out/Kid’s Pajama Party
Enjoy a night out on the town while your kiddos enjoy a super-fun night at Great Play of Redmond. In addition to fun games and activities, kiddos will enjoy a pizza dinner and a movie on the big screen. Fri., 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Redmond. $40 to $50. Pre-registration is required. Ages 3 to 8. Pumpkin Patch Opening Weekend at Dr. Maze’s
Take the kiddos to Dr. Maze’s for tons of farm fun. In addition to finding the perfect jack-o-lantern in the U-pick fields, enjoy hayrides, farm animals, and rubber ducky races plus a singing chicken show, new mazes, a giant spider web climber and more. Fall Pumpkin Harvest Festival Opening Weekend (pictured)
Nothing screams fall fun more than a trip to Remlinger Farms! In addition to hay and corn mazes, pony rides, and an old-fashioned steam train, there will be plenty of mini-carnival rides, live entertainment, yummy food, and jack-o-lanterns galore in the U-pick pumpkin fields. Sat.-Sun., 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (weekends through October 27). Carnation. $17.11 to $14.94 (under 1 free). All ages. Event details.
