On May 17 & 18 in 1942, over 800 people of Japanese ancestry were forcibly relocated out of Tacoma and into internment camps. Join the Washington State History Museum for a day of programming and activities to commemorate this event, the lives it impacted and its legacy in Tacoma.
Note: This event occurs on the Third Thursday of the month when admission is free from 3 p.m.-8 p.m.
