“I read somewhere that one reason new mothers lack interest in sex is that they feel touched out,” shares Seattle-based Heidi Raykeil, a.k.a. the Naughty Mommy, in her brand new book, Confessions of a Naughty Mommy (Seal Press, 2006). In the first part of the real-life story, Raykeil explains in both sad and hilarious detail how the bond of breastfeeding and mother-love in general put the kibosh on her previously smoking sex life with her husband, JB.

Later, she attempts to revive it by adopting different attitudes and techniques (date nights, hot tubs, fantasies and the like) in order to save her lost libido. Dive in and read Raykeil tell it like it is: Balancing the roles of mom, wife and sexual being is not always a smooth sailing trip. It’s a bumpy, wild ride.
