Ladies and gents, start your turnips! At this super-fun event, build a race car from vegetables provided by Mosby Farm and then watch it zoom (or putter!) down an inclined track. Veggie Car Races are fun and free for the whole family!

Mary Olson Farm is free and open to the public Saturdays and Sundays June 16 through August 26 from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm.

Rent a Pirate Pond Boat to sail on Lake Union Park's Model Boat Pond. These 39-inch pond boats are scale models of the R-Boat Pirate, which is on exhibit on our docks at South Lake Union. Sailing these miniature racing yachts is a great way to learn the basic concepts of sailing while enjoying time at the park. Pond Boat Sailing takes places Saturdays April-November.
