Families with multiple kids who have various hobbies know that much of parenting life happens behind the wheel of a car. There are soccer practices, religious education, dance classes and more. Sure, your Little One would love to take music lessons, but how can you possibly fit another stop onto your already-full carpool schedule?
Lucky for you, the folks at Virtuoso Music have your back.
Offering in-home music lessons for kids in the greater Seattle area, Virtuoso Music takes travel out of the extra-curricular equation. Families are matched with motivated, qualified, instructors who come to your home on your schedule. They teach kids everything from piano to guitar to violin to band instruments and conduct a minimum of 45 minutes of private instruction. (Violin students start as young as age 3; piano at 5; guitar at 7.) Parents must be home during the lesson and are encouraged to meet with instructors to see how their child is progressing.
Director Brent Elkins says Virtuoso’s goal is to provide a full service music education that includes not only lessons but other resources such as performance opportunities (like recitals and festivals) and discounts on method books, plus access to a free library of piano repertoire music.
The cost of weekly 45-minute lessons per month with Virtuoso Music is about $219.
Not having to drive your Mozart-to-be to the lesson? Priceless.
