With springtime celebrations (and Easter) on the horizon, we’ve got a great mix of family events to keep you and your crew hopping this weekend. Our roundup of fun includes a spring celebration with mammals, a family workshop at SAM, an educational day in the African Savanna, an Easter-themed 5K, a ginormous egg hunt and an old-fashioned Easter celebration. If that’s not enough excitement, the annual Daffofil Festival Parade will travel through four cities this weekend—from Tacoma to Orting—and SANCA will present its showcase of unique circus performances featuring students, alumni and staff.

The Great Community Egg Hunt
Rain or shine, this Easter egg hunt in Woodinville is going to be tons of fun! In year’s past, the egg hunt has featured 26,000 eggs stuffed with candy and stickers. And this year, it’s going to be even BIGGER! 30,000 eggs (seriously). In addition to the egg hunt, there will be face painting, inflatables, games and more. Sat. Event details

Easter Fun at Fox Hollow Farm
Hop on over to Fox Hollow Farm for this old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. Each year, Fox Hollow hides over 40,000 candy-filled eggs throughout their five acres for kids to leisurely hunt around and find. After kids collect their 20 egg quota, they can saddle up for a scenic pony ride along Issaquah Creek, zoom around on ATV’s or take time to explore the barn area and surrounding pens where they can hold baby chicks, ducklings, kittens and bunnies as well as meet all of the Farm’s resident animals. Sat.-Sun. Event details.
