This weekend, the Emerald City is going festival bonkers! For starters, we have a quirky fish festival, an event for little firefighter wannabes and a parade with tons of kids. We also have a popular summertime celebration on Mercer Island, a festival with a spectacular fireworks show and a cultural celebration with loads of entertainment. Looking for even more excitement? Head to Alki Beach to watch the Seafair Pirates storm the shore or head to the Ballard Locks to watch a marine parade of historic vessels travel from Salmon Bay into Lake Union in honor of the Locks’ centennial celebration.
