When you’ve got a sick kid at home, prepping yourself with an arsenal of easy activities is as important as disinfecting everything she may have touched in the last 48 hours. To help you out, we’ve got a list of quality entertainment perfect for an afternoon or two of couch crashing. Flip through the slideshow below to see our top picks for your favorite little people to watch while they’re on the mend.

Elena of Avalor (Disney Jr.)

Disney’s first Latin-inspired princess was introduced to tiny fans around the world by another super-popular royal kiddo, Sophia the First. Join Elena of Avalor as she returns to her kingdom, deals with sorcery, learns how to rule her loyal subjects, and does so with a spunky attitude and lots of smiles. There are lots of Spanish-influenced songs, style and words in this very fun Disney Jr. show, and parents can expect to see themes of friendship, respect and honesty throughout. You’ll need to set a recording for this series on Disney Jr. (new episodes on Friday nights at 7:30 p.m.) in order to binge-watch, but re-runs are constantly being aired during the day—you’ll have a stockpile in no time.

Ages: 5 & up.
