It’s ok to admit that you don’t have time to make meatballs and marinara sauce from scratch (and hey, if you do, kudos to you!). This recipe from the food blog, Garnish with Lemon shows that just with a few pre-made ingredients and your slow cooker, a crowd-pleasing meal is easy to achieve, any day of the week.

Serves 8

Ingredients:
1½ pounds frozen meatballs
1 jar marinara sauce
8 slices provolone cheese or 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
8 hot dog buns

Method:
1. Place frozen meatballs and sauce in slow cooker. Cook on low for 4-6 hours.

2. When ready to serve, divide meatballs among buns and top with cheese slices or shredded cheese. Broil until cheese is melted and bun is toasted. Serve warm.
