Torrey Pines Glider Port

A great way to impress family visiting from out-of-town is by taking them to watch the gliders soar off this seaside bluff. It's nothing short of spectacular. Head up around lunchtime, and grab a bite at the Cliff Hanger Cafe. Try the Turkey California sandwich. On weekends they (sometimes) grill hot dogs and hamburgers. They have snacks and drinks for half-pints. Whatever you choose to eat, the view is a real feast for the eyes.
