Balboa Park Botanical Gardens

Stroll the reflection pond, spot the floating lily pads and drink in the amazing Botanical Garden view–– one of the largest lattice structures in the world. Find shade inside while exploring the over 2,100 plants from cycads and ferns to orchids and palms. You'll find good eats just past the Museum of Art at Panama 66 with kid-friendly food like PB & J and grilled cheese sandwiches. There's even a little sculpture garden to keep kiddos entertained.
