Everything You Need to Know About LEGOLAND’s Brick-or-Treat
After your child changes his or her mind seventeen times about what to be for Halloween and once the purchase is finally executed there’s no better feeling than getting mileage out of what is usually a one-time wear. Every weekend in October, Brick-or-Treat at LEGOLAND California gives your kids the opportunity to show off their Halloween gear in a safe, fun environment and even earn some free return tickets.
What’s The Brick-or-Treat Trail?
The Brick-or-Treat Trail is a favorite of kids ages 12 and under who can trick-or-treat up the Enchanted Walk on both Saturdays and Sundays during October. 10 LEGO-themed stations line the small cul-de-sac where costumed friends hand out goodies to the kids. Not to worry—it’s not all candy. Last year there were small toys, crayons and other non-sugar high inducing items, in addition to a smidge of yummy treats.
Once you’ve filled your pillowcase…
If your kids can stay up a little late, Saturday is the most festive time to head to LEGOLAND in October. Brick-or-Treat Party Nights are filled with family-friendly activities that will (almost) guarantee that the kids sleep later on Sunday morning. Enjoy an interactive show called “Mail Order Monsters,” costume contests, nighttime trick-or-treating, dancing, festive music, a light show after sunset and fireworks closing down the park. The LEGOLAND pumpkin patch includes glow-in-the-dark treats, while costumed characters in the “Boo Crew” interact with kids and act in magic shows. This year seek out the new ghost cruise scavenger hunt. The big list of events packs a full family itinerary.
Even SEA LIFE Gets Into the Spirit
Next door, SEA LIFE Aquarium contributes to the Saturday night action by featuring a Brick-or-Treat bonus station. Watch a specially-themed dive show and creepy crawler appearances on both weekend days in October.
Hours & Admission
During Brick-or-Treat, LEGOLAND is open from 10:00am – 9:00pm on Saturdays and 10:00am – 5:00pm on Sundays. Brick-or-Treat occurs every Saturday in October from noon-9pm and every Sunday in October from noon-5pm. SEA LIFE Aquarium will stay open until 8:00pm on Saturdays in order for guests to explore the aquarium after dark.
Brick-or-Treat festivities are included in the regular admission price of $59 on selected Saturdays in October; however, if you’d just like to rock Brick-or-Treat Party Nights from 5pm – 9pm, the price is reduced to $30 every Saturday in October. Both tickets grant entry into SEA LIFE Aquarium and LEGOLAND and are exclusive to the web so you’ll want to buy in advance by clicking here. Phew.

Hopefully, once you execute on a costume, your kid won’t change his or her mind. That’s the worst, but if you wind up with two, save one for Halloween and the other for LEGOLAND.
