The Easter Bunny is hopping into San Diego and he’s making stops all over town. We’ve rounded up some egg-citing Easter egg hunts and other fun Easter activities taking place throughout the county. So grab those baskets and hit the town.
Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt

Egg Hunt at Toby Wells YMCA
Join the family fun at Toby Wells YMCA for the annual spring egg hunt! Admission price includes egg hunt, goodie bag, an Easter game card, and family fun relays! Don’t miss out on the bounce house, face painting, craft, and snacks at an additional cost. Kids should bring their own basket for the egg hunt. Mar. 21 12 – 3 p.m., Toby Wells YMCA (Mission Valley). Easter Surprises at Belmont Park
Celebrate Easter and an egg hunt at the beach or at the park. 10,000 fun-filled eggs PLUS 25 special golden eggs will be hidden throughout the park and kids can pose for photos with the Easter Bunny. Apr. 5, times vary by activity, Belmont Park (Mission Beach). Event details.
Teen Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt
Join the quest to find 1,000 glow in the dark treat filled eggs at this teen glow in the dark egg hunt. Mar. 28, 5 – 9 p.m., Poway Community Park (Poway). Event details.
Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy face painting, a bubble game, a real live bunny from the San Diego Zoo and lots more fun. There’s also an egg hunt for kids ages 12 and under at 10 am. Apr. 4, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m., Rancho Bernardo Community Park (Rancho Bernardo). Event details.
Easter Egg Treasure Hunt and Bunny Visit
Kids of all ages are invited to Carlsbad Premium Outlets for the annual center-wide Easter Egg Treasure Hunt. Easter eggs will be given out at participating stores (while supplies last). Kids and parents can pick up treasure maps in Center Court the day of the event. Don’t forget to bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny and get creative with arts and crafts! Holiday Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Come and have breakfast with Peter Cottontail at “The Williams Barn” in Walnut Grove Park. Bring the whole family to enjoy this early morning chow-down of pancakes and sausage prepared by the bunny’s helpers. Immediately following the breakfast, toddlers through 5th graders are invited to the community “Holiday Egg Hunt,” where eggs with prizes will be well hidden by the bunny himself! Spring Festival and Egg Hunt

Carlsbad Eggstravaganza Spring Festival

Easter Spring Fest

Coronado Easter Eggstravaganza
Ongoing egg hunts, carnival games, crafts, Candyland games and a separate area for toddlers. Bring your camera and take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
