Eggcellent Easter Egg Hunts in San Diego
The Easter Bunny is hopping into San Diego and he’s making stops all over town. We’ve rounded up some egg-cellent Easter egg hunts and other fun Easter activities taking place throughout the county. So grab those baskets and hit the town.
Glow-in-the-Dark Egg Hunt
First Church Ministry offers an evening of glow-in-the-dark games, desserts and a special egg hunt for kids. Don’t forget to bring a basket! Apr. 11, 7 – 8:30 pm, First United Methodist Church (Mission Valley). Event details.
Eggs and Treats at Santa Clara Rec Center
This free egg hunt includes face painting, photos with Mr. Bunny, arts and crafts, and lots more fun. Apr. 12, 11 am – 2 pm, Santa Clara Recreation Center (Mission Beach). Event details.
Egg Hunt at Toby Wells YMCA
Join the family fun at Toby Wells YMCA for the annual spring egg hunt! Admission price includes egg hunt, goodie bag, an Easter game card, and family fun relays! Don’t miss out on the bounce house, face painting, craft, and snacks at an additional cost. Kids should bring their own basket for the egg hunt. Apr. 13, 12 – 3 pm, Toby Wells YMCA (Mission Valley). Egg-citing Surprises at Doyle Recreation Center

Easter Surprises at Belmont Park
Celebrate Easter and an egg hunt at the beach. Treat-filled eggs will be hidden throughout the park and kids can pose for photos with the Easter Bunny. Apr. 20, times vary by activity, Belmont Park (Mission Beach). Event details.
Scout for Easter
Scout @ Quarter D transforms itself into a spring wonderland. The day includes Easter egg dyeing, an egg hunt with prizes, basket decorating, a butterfly photo booth, food truck, art projects and more. Apr. 19, 11 am – 3 pm, Scout, Quarter D at Liberty Station (Point Loma). Event details.
Meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy face painting, a bubble game, a real live bunny from the San Diego Zoo and lots more fun. There’s also an egg hunt for kids ages 12 and under at 10 am. Apr. 12, 9:30 – 11:30 am, Rancho Bernardo Community Park (Rancho Bernardo). Event details.
Holiday Breakfast and Egg Hunt
Come and have breakfast with Peter Cottontail at “The Williams Barn” in Walnut Grove Park. Bring the whole family to enjoy this early morning chow-down of pancakes and sausage prepared by the bunny’s helpers. Immediately following the breakfast, toddlers through 5th graders are invited to the community “Holiday Egg Hunt,” where eggs with prizes will be well hidden by the bunny himself! Spring Festival and Egg Hunt

Carlsbad Eggstravaganza Spring Festival

Easter Spring Fest

Campo Bunny Train
The Easter Bunny is hopping to Campo! We’ve been told that the Famous Bunny will pass out Easter Eggs on board the trains. He will also have an Easter Craft Project for the kids in the Museum’s Display Building after the train ride. Your fare includes a one-hour train ride, admission to the Museum, and the craft project. Families with young children will not want to miss this special treat! Apr. 12, 11 am and 2:30 pm, Pacific Southwest Railway Museum (Campo). Event details.
Bunny Bash at Grossmont Center
Hop down to Macy’s Courtyard for Easter treats, Mad Hatter paper bag hat decorating, balloon art, and an Easter egg hunt for kiddos ages 3 – 10. Apr. 12, 10 am – 12 pm, Grossmont Center (La Mesa). Event details.
Easter Eggstravaganza at Kroc Center
This event includes photos with the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, carnival games, music, prizes, a Toddler Zone, and an egg hunt featuring 15,000 eggs! Apr. 18, 10 am – 1 pm, Salvation Army Kroc Center (College Area). Event details.
Coronado Easter Eggstravaganza
Ongoing egg hunts, carnival games, crafts, Candyland games and a separate area for toddlers. Bring your camera and take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
