Paw Patrol Live: Race to the Rescue!
It’s the day of the Great Race between Adventure Bay’s Mayor Goodway and Foggy Bottom’s Mayor Humdinger, but Mayor Goodway is nowhere to be found. PAW Patrol to the rescue! Their mission is to rescue Mayor Goodway and help her to finish the race. Using each of their unique skills and teamwork, the pups make several heroic rescues on their race to the finish line. Sat. Pet Pals: Rabbit Agility
A fun opportunity for children to visit San Diego Humane Society and learn about their animal friends. Each month focuses on a different animal or animal-related topic and includes a lesson, activity and animal interaction geared towards the theme of the month. This month’s theme is Rabbit Agility. San Diego Earth Fair
EarthFair 2018 features more than 300 exhibitors, special theme areas, a Food Pavilion, a special Kids’ Activity Area, four entertainment venues, the Children’s Earth Parade, the eARTh Gallery arts and crafts show, and the Cleaner Car Concourse. Activities for kids include face painting, storytelling and youth-oriented performances including the Dr. Wilderness Family Magic Show. Sat. Event details.

Newsies Jr.
San Diego Junior Theatre is thrilled to partner with Music Theatre International and Disney Theatrical Group on a special pilot production of Newsies JR.! Based on the 1992 motion picture and the hit Broadway musical, Newsies JR. features a score by eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Newsies JR. is the story of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of newsies, who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. For this pilot process, Newsies JR. has been adapted for young performers. Earth Day Festival at Alta Vista Gardens
Connect with nature and go green at this fun event with active outdoor play for the kiddos, live music, a plant sale, vendors and food for sale. Activities for kids include planting, recycled art, hands-on worms, crafts, painting “Earth Day Rocks!,” and games. Plant Sale includes natives, flowers, veggies, rare plants and gardening advice. Valley Center

Arts, Crafts & Vintage Market
Come and shop for American handmade arts and crafts on the farm. Up-cycled, recycled, restored, vintage, antique and handmade wares will be offered, along with unique artwork. The Market is part of the Bates Nut Farm Spring Festival, which includes a Food Truck Festival on Saturday and car show on Sunday. Fun for the whole family with Snow’s Pony Rides, petting zoo and face painting. The Valley Center Lions Club serves their famous Pancake Breakfast from 7 – 10 a.m. $6 adults/$5 kids gets you all-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee & orange juice. 16th Annual Creek to Bay Clean-Up
Celebrate Earth Day by participating in I Love a Clean San Diego’s Creek to Bay Cleanup. Take action and care for the environment by choosing to beautify more than 100 sites throughout San Diego county that need litter removal and protection. Last year, volunteers cleaned up 150,000 pounds of trash at the event! Kids can join in the fun and win awards by entering the “Bling your Bucket” contest. Sat. Event details.

Poway

Poway Spring Family Festival
The Poway Spring Family Festival is a free regional event that attracts more than 10,000 attendees from the greater San Diego area. The event features the popular Madame Mechanic Classic Car Show, a beer garden, a variety of food choices from local vendors, talented crafters, entertainment and a kid zone. Sun. Event details.
