Come stroll through the Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market every Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m., where over 200 tents line W. Date St. from Kettner Blvd. to Front St. The options are endless—you can enjoy an incredible selection of farm fresh produce, pastured eggs and poultry, meat, fish, flowers, local artisan food and more! Find food purveyors with sauces and relish, oysters, coffee beans, spices and more, and plants including orchids, fresh flowers, and bedding plants. Dine on crepes, paninis, green smoothies, lemonade and local chefs’ specialties best enjoyed with the live music. San Diego Humane Society’s Walk for Animals
Attend a doggone fun fundraiser that helps animals at “Walk for Animals.” Start the day at 7 a.m. by eating a pancake breakfast with entertainment. At 8:30 a.m. there will be a blessing of the animals, at 8:45 a.m. you’ll warm up for the walk, which begins at 9 a.m.. Dog inspired activities and vendor village continue until 11 a.m. All registered participants will receive a commemorative Walk for Animals T-shirt. Note: All pets must be on a leash at all times. Musical Theater Classes
T3 arts is inviting kids and teens ages 7-18 to join them for dance, voice and acting instructional classes, every Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Only $10 per class – scholarship program is available. Students may take one class or join them all. Classes culminates with a student showcase. Please register prior to arriving for class.
