Birch Aquarium Tidepooling Adventure
Visit a local tide pool to learn how these amazing habitats and their inhabitants truly survive between a rock and a hard place. The optimal season for tidepooling is Dec.-Mar. when minus tides reveal wider beaches and tide pools teeming with life. During those months, you can sign up for a Tidepooling Adventure where trained naturalists will show you how to tread lightly during your visit and help you discover the wonderful world of tide pools. Lucy Loop’s Journey Through the Land of Lost Things
SPARK! Circus presents Lucy Loop’s Journey Through the Land of Lost Things: a two part interactive extravaganza for the young and young at heart: children’s workshop and puppet show! All proceeds will go to Spark! Circus. This event is suited for ages 1-8. The first hour (3-4 p.m.) kidswill have so much fun moving and grooving! There will be a workshop to dance along and sing along and clown around! The next hour (4-5 p.m.) Lucy Loop’s Journey Through the Land of Lost Things begins! Throughout her quest to embrace individuality, Lucy Loop meets many quirky friends, who, through interactive songs and movement, puppets, bubble art, outrageous physical comedy and pure silly entertainment help Lucy Loop discover important lessons about handling grumpy feelings, letting go of the notion of fitting in, and that Lucy Loop needn’t try to be anything but her loopy Lucy self, just the way she is! Kids Entrepreneur Fair
Come support the next generation of American entrepreneurs at the Kids Entrepreneur event hosted by Girl Scout Troop 4207. This event provides for a unique opportunity for adults as well as their own peers to showcase the American spirit of innovation and self reliance with their businesses and talents. Tickets can be purchased here to either operate a booth, or simply come to the fair to support the kids. Stay for a while, or stay the whole time; all participants who want to show support are welcome to attend. Kids Marathon Mile at LEGOLAND
Run, skip or stroll this one mile marathon event for kids of all ages. Moms, dads and kids are invited to join the fun in this non-competitive 1-mile run/walk through LEGOLAND® California. Note: the LEGOLAND parking lot opens at 6:30 a.m., event registration is at 7 a.m. and the mile races start at 8 a.m. Registration includes an event T-shirt and medal and a free 1-Day Sea Life Hopper ticket and (4) 40% off adult 1-Day Sea Life Hopper tickets.
