What do cartooning, cooking, parenting and micorbiomes have in common? They’re all happening this weekend in San Diego. Kids can take a free cartooning class at the Carmel Mountain Library and learn to draw their favorite character. Learn how to cook pasta and other tasty Italian treats at K Pasta. Head south to the annual Coronado SAFE 4th Annual Parenting Conference. Young scientists will love learning about the human microbiome at the opening of this new exhibit at the Reuben H. The Zoo in You: The Human Microbiome
This new bilingual exhibit allows young scientists to explore the fascinating and complex world inside their bodies through the microbiome. 2theXtreme – Math Alive!
This weekend marks the end of this high-energy and hands-on exhibit. It’s a math-driven exhibit that takes math far from sitting in a desk memorizing equations. Kids are encouraged by their bilingual robot computer animated guides to play with all the computer simulated exhibits.
