Sunset ArtWalk at Bernardo Winery
Start your weekends off right at the Rancho Bernardo Winery. Every Friday night during the summer, head to the winery for art, wine, music, food and shopping in the Winery Village. Meet local artists and enjoy their work in the courtyard along with live music, food vendors and tasting room. Shops and Café open late. Families welcome, but leave Fido at home. Fri. Event details.

Mother’s Tea is an informal event meant to bring together mamas in the area from all backgrounds and walks of life. All are welcome and encouraged to attend; just come as you are and bring your new baby if you’d like. There will be a selection of teas to choose from and if you’d like to bring a gluten free snack to share, it will be enjoyed. There won’t be any formal discussion topic, just an icebreaker question and budding friendship. Note: Babes in arms are always welcome, but please leave older siblings with a trusted caregiver. Fri. Event details.
Fiesta del Sol Festival

The main stage showcases children’s dance groups, musicians, art exhibitions and more. Sat. & Sun. Event details.
Deep Pit BBQ & Family Fun
At the 29th Annual “Q & Brew” there will be plates of steaming hot Deep Pit BBQ Beef with cole slaw and beans, cooked to a succulent tenderness the old fashioned way, in a deep hand-dug pit filled with burning wood coals and covered tightly overnight. This method was demonstrated to the early settlers by neighboring ranchero owners at their local fiestas. As a family affair, there will be plenty of fun for the kids: petting zoo, crafts, games, photo ops, entertainment and live music and many other activities. Beer, soda and water available. Sat.
