Let’s kick off the arrival of family outdoor fun with awesome egg-stravaganzas!  Mark your calendars and let the kids have their fill with sweets and fun photos with the Easter bunny at these egg-cellent egg hunts.

North Orange County

Irvine Park Railroad
If you want a one-stop shop that has it all in terms of Easter celebrations, then Irvine Park Railroad is your spot.  The whole month of March is dedicated to train rides, Easter egg hunts, cookie decorating, hay rides, carnival games, and pictures with the Easter bunny.  Easter egg hunts typically sell out so be sure to check the egg hunt times on the website and plan to arrive at least an hour early.  Remember to bring Easter baskets for your kids.  Print these coupons and coloring pages too. Tustin Easter Egg Hunt
The Tustin Sports Park is transformed into an Easter playground that includes a bounce house, petting zoo, pony rides, animal show, game booths, and of course the Easter egg hunt! Be sure to bring a basket or bag for the kids.  Sat., Mar. 30, 8:30 am – 11:30 am. All ages.

Costa Mesa 7th Annual Easter Festival
The O.C. Fairgrounds will be hosting their annual egg hunt and will also be featuring photos with the Easter bunny, puppet shows, face painting and crafts. Be sure to bring your own baskets or bags.  Sun., Mar. 24, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. All ages.

Buena Park Spring Eggstravaganza
Bring your early birds to a pancake breakfast to fill them up before the day’s activities.  They’ll need all the energy they can get since they’ll be enjoying the candy scramble, bounce house, crafts, field games, petting zoo, and live stage entertainment. Sat., Mar. 30, Breakfast at 8:00 am, Program at 9:00 am.  Children 12 years and younger.

Los Alamitos Spring Carnival
Gather your family to have fun at this family style carnival! Egg hunts are grouped by age and begin at 9:30 am.  Games and food trucks will also be part of the festivities. Sat., Mar. 30, 9:00 am – 11:00 am.

San Clemente Sensation Springtacular
Bring the family beachside, bright and early for a pancake breakfast.  After breakfast have the kids make crafts, take photos with the Easter bunny and score some sweets in the big egg hunt. Sat., Mar. 30, 7:30 am breakfast, 9:00 am – 11:30 am crafts & games, 11:15 am egg hunt for ages newborn to 10 years old.

Cypress Spring Egg Hunt
Your classic egg hunt along with food, photos with the Easter bunny, crafts, and activities.  Just remember not to be late since this event does start right on time! Sat., Mar. 30, 10:30 am sharp! All ages.

Huntington Beach Annual Easter Hunt
Wake up bright and early to bring the whole family to the Huntington Beach Sports Complex. Activities include live music, games, photos with the Easter bunny, face painting, and the annual egg hunt.  The kids will also have a chance to meet the policemen and firemen of Huntington Beach!  Sat., Mar. 30, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Ages newborn to 10 years old.

Fountain Valley Easter Egg Hunt
Pack the family into the car and zoom over to the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park to kick off the morning with a $5 breakfast that includes pancakes, sausages and a beverage.  All of the proceeds of the breakfast will go towards the Fountain Valley Kiwanis Scholarship Foundation.  In addition to the egg hunt, there will be carnival games, crafts, balloon artists, bounce houses and much more. Parking is $5 and a picture with the Easter bunny $2.  Sat., Mar. 30, 8:30 am – 11:30 am. Ages newborn to 11 years old.

La Habra Spring Eggstravaganza
Pancake breakfast will be served at 6:30 am so be sure to set your alarm clocks because the kids might not even be up by then!  After breakfast, 8:00 am kicks off the Community Fair, game booths, bounce houses, and crafts.  The day will finish off with egg hunts starting at 10:00 am. Sat., Mar. 30, 6:30 am – 11:00 am. Egg hunt starts at 10:00 am for children 2 years and younger and will proceed at 15-minute intervals by age group, finishing off with teens & adults at 11:00 am.

Aliso Viejo Spring Celebration & Pancake Breakfast
Nothing like a pancake breakfast to kick off your Saturday morning at 9:00 am. In addition to the egg hunt, the activities include photos with Peter Rabbit, bounce house, face painting, crafts, and live entertainment.  Sat., Mar. 23, 9:00 am – 11:30 am. All ages.

Laguna Niguel Bunny Blast
Although there is no egg hunt at this event, you will still find a bounce house, crafts, face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, and the hopping Easter bunny!  Sat., Mar. 30, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. All ages. $7 for ages 3-12 and $1 for 13-adults.

Dana Point Egg Hunt
Drop by the Pines Park & Sea Canyon Park for a jammed packed egg hunt event complete with petting zoo, games, and the Easter bunny. Make sure that the kids bring their own basket. Sat., Mar. 30, 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Ages newborn to 10 years old.

Laguna Hills Mr. Bunny & Friends
Stop by the Laguna Hills Community Center for a morning filled with an egg hunt, crafts, and photos with Mr. Bunny. Sat., Mar. 30, 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  Ages 6 years old and under. Residents $6, non-residents $11.

Lake Forest Bunny Blast
In addition to their egg scramble, you will find plenty of Easter activities to keep the whole family busy. Activities include not only Mr. Bunny but also his Alice in Wonderland friends, bounce house, petting zoo, face painting, a giant ferris wheel, strolling magician and balloon artist.
