1. Arts and Crafts at San Diego Botanic Garden
It’s never too early to foster a green thumb and that’s just what you’ll do by visiting San Diego Botanic Garden on Wednesdays for Arts and Crafts hour. Kids ages 1 – 6 get to participate in a craft that often involves plant potting. Free with admission or membership, you and your mini gardener will love soaking in the gorgeous surroundings before and after your arts and craft project.

2. CryBaby Matinee at Angelika Film Center
Pass the popcorn! Angelika Film Center in Carmel Mountain offers Crybaby Matinees where you needn’t worry if your baby needs a feeding or has a tantrum. The lights are set to dim and the volume is turned down to accommodate moms and little ones. Who knows? Your babe may just sleep through his first trip to the cinema!

3. Toddler Time at Dove Library in Carlsbad

4. STREAM Stations at San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum
You’ll love watching your pint-sized scientist discover new and exciting things through STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art and Math) stations at the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum. The setting is an outdoor art studio and participants get to flow from one station to the next. Each station relates to one of the museum’s exhibits.

5. Aerial Classes at Trilogy

9. Leo Carrillo Ranch
Brighten up your hump day by visiting Leo Carrillo Ranch.
