Being able to grab a decent meal with your coffee fuel up is key to saving time, but that often means deciding between good coffee and a blah meal or vice versa. Now, Starbucks is making it easier to enjoy your java and a delicious dish without giving up anything.
Starbucks has just debuted the Princi bakery at its Reserve Roastery location in Seattle. The high-end Italian-style bakery, with recipes hand-crafted by acclaimed Italian baker Rocco Princi, will feature over 100 different menu items for breakfast and lunch, including sandwiches, salads and baked goods. The bakery is completely different than the sandwiches and muffins that most Starbucks locations already feature in that the items will be freshly baked and made in-house using ingredients imported from Italy.
The company already has plans to open several other Princi bakery locations, including New York and Chicago. If all goes well, you’ll likely be seeing fresh-baked treats at a Starbucks near you before you know it.
