As a parent, you know you’re not supposed to have a favorite child, and any such inklings are buried deep inside (underneath about 10 tons of guilt). But a University of California study of 768 parents found 70 percent of mothers and 74 percent of fathers do favor one child over the other(s). Scientists believe the oldest children got the most love from parents, according to 384 of the families studied.
